Kiwi Strip for this week! And Linxes!

Good Friday to you all (even if it isn't one!), The exciting latest installment has been posted on the astounding Kiwimancomics website! so head along for you're latest fix by clicking the image to the right. We've made some changes to the archived strips, they are now presented in units (generally as 4 panel strips) which is how the were (mostly) formulated and created originally.

Besides that great and astounding news I'd like to share a few links with you, purely for your edification and entertainment.

First off, Dodgem Logic, Alan Moore's underground magazine, up to number 4 already and 5 is due to ship out from the 16th of August. In addition to a pretty crazy and exciting website there are quite amusing youtube vids of Alan Moore blowing his interviewer's mind, talking up the magazine. What an amusing rogue!

But that's not all! Now for some New Zealand links about last weekend's Comic Con in San Diego!

First up Roger Langridge blogged on his website Hotel Fred about his adventures at the Convention, where he was hosted by Boom! studios for whom he has been making The Muppet Show comic book!

But that's not all!!! Over at Adrian Kinnaird's blog From Earth's End he's been keeping tabs on the kiwi connection to comic con, recently he's posted on an exhibition of Temuera Morrison's SPFX appliance make up from the forth-coming Green Lantern movie; Rumours that Karl Urban is to play Judge Dredd in that forth-coming film and of course the interview with another local boy, Richard Fairgray and the launching of the legally blind comic maker's 'Blastosaurus' which linked to in my last post.

Well, I'd like to wish a very warm hello to all my followers (that's you Dave you little cherub!) and a hearty 'keep coming back' to you all! I'll be adding some interesting pictures of my other work over the coming week, and there'll be another post about the latest Kiwiman strip on Friday a week from now.

Till then keep smiling!

Matt.

Latest Strip, Some News, & A Story Board

Posted this morning: the latest Kiwiman comic strip! Go to kiwimancomics.com to check it out!!
Please post me your comments on the strip, let me know how you're finding it. Is there anything about the strip or the website that I need to know about ? Leave me a comment here (encouragement will be appreciated too!) and let me know how you're doing!

NEWS!!!!
Big congratulations to Richard Fairgray as he has slipped over the Atlantic ocean to launch his comic Blastosaurus at this weekends Comic Con in San Diego USA! Richard had been self publishing to produce the comic on a monthly basis here in New Zealand (released through comics specialty stores and sold over trademe). However he had always intended to release it in North America through the awspices of Jeff Katz's "American Original" Company. Read more about it at 'From Earth's End' where Adrian Kinnaird has published an exclusive interview conducted with Richard shortly before the Blastosaurus creator left for the convention!

OFF TOPIC ART.
Lastly, thought I would share some work I've done for a friend who is making a short film. He should be almost finished shooting by the end of the weekend. I was asked to come up with boards for the fight scene. This is the second page in, the fight has already started and one guy is throttling the other.
I'll be posting a few more pages from this story board as we go along. I'll also include other pieces I've done that are not related to the Kiwimancomics site.

Thanks for your time! See you next post!

Matt.
